128 Citizens Disclosed their Trip to Iran, Saudi Health Ministry

The Saudi Health Ministry said that by Saturday morning; a total of 128 Saudi citizens disclosed that they had visited Iran.

The ministry said in a statement that 26 of them have returned to the Kingdom while 95 remain in Iran.

Another seven citizens are in other countries, the statement added.

The ministry thanked them for their cooperation. Besides, their concern for the safety of their families and those who are in contact with them. This comes amid the coronavirus outbreak.

It urged all those who haven’t yet disclosed their trips to Iran, to take advantage of the deadline that ends at midnight Saturday.

On Thursday, Saudi Arabia denounced Iran for granting Saudi citizens entry without stamping their passports and urged it to reveal the identities of all Saudi nationals who had visited since the start of February.

A statement, which cited an official source, urged Saudi citizens who are in Iran or have returned recently to report their travel, promising if they did so in 48 hours they would not be subjected to a law forbidding travel to Iran.
