Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman stressed that 2020 will be "the year of achievements" for Saudi Arabia and the UAE, during the second meeting of the Saudi Arabia-UAE Coordination Council in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
Prince Muhammad bin Salman co-chaired the meeting with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.
During the meeting Saudi Arabia invited the UAE to be a guest at the 2020 summit.
Saudi Arabia's presidency of the G20 in 2020,and the UAE's hosting of the Expo 2020, are the best proof of what bothcountries have," the Crown Prince said.
the Crown Prince also underlined that the SaudiArabian-UAE joint economy can work towards, and seeks to be, one of the top teneconomies in the world and one of the top ten financial markets in the world.
"We can work together to become one of the top10 economies in the world, as foreign investments currently exceed $250bn invarious economic sectors. Our financial markets exceed $720bn, and we seek tobe one of the top ten financial markets in the world," the Crown Prince said.
"Saudi Arabian-UAE integration not onlybenefits the two countries, but also the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC),"Prince Muhammad added.
Sheikh Mohammed stressed the strength of SaudiArabia-UAE relations, citing 20 common areas of development in fields such aseconomy and security.
