Decline in Saudi coronavirus cases continues, announcing 601 New Cases

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health has stressed on the importance of adhering to precautionary measures and the necessity to apply preventive measures to curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in order to preserve the health and safety of all members of society.

"498 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 331,857 cases, including 12,465 active cases undergoing treatment," the Ministry of Health announced in a statement on Thursday.

Of these, there are 1,090 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.

It added that 30 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 4,599.

Meanwhile, as many as 1,007 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 314,793. On the other hand, new 46,037 laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour.
