CEO of the Bahrain International Automobile Circuit Sheikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia took the lead in organizing the first international electric SUV race in Al-Ula, which has a wonderful competitive atmosphere due to the beauty of its nature.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he said that this unique event would place Al-Ula at the heart of the international sports competitions, which attracted great attention, wishing that the successes achieved in the field of sports and car racing competitions, led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, and Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, President of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), would never stop.

He stressed that the organizing the Extreme E race for electric SUV in Al-Ula represents an important start in this type of race, especially that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia achieved great success in organizing the desert rally races, pointing out that the continued organization of these competitions is very important to attract the world's attention to explore the Saudi touristy site of Al-Ula.
