Arab Interior Ministers council Holds the 38th Meeting

Council of Arab Interior Ministers held their 38th session virtually on Thursday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Saudi Arabia's Minister of Interior and Honorary Chairman of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, headed the Kingdom's delegation to the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, the leader of the Saudi delegation conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince to the Arab interior ministers.

"The successes being achieved by our security institutions in facing the global and local challenges and changes surrounding our Arab security have contributed to strengthening the complementary relationship between the security agencies and citizens," Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz said in his speech.

The effort also contributed to raising the level of awareness of the public and understanding of the role of the security services in their lives and for their stability, he added.

This also underlined the importance of the public's cooperation with the security agencies, he said, expressing hope that such achievement would continue growing to enhance the relationship between citizens and security servers, who are working for their safety, security, and stability. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz affirmed the fully-integrated relationship between the security institutions in the Arab countries, led by the Council of Arab Interior Ministers and the Arab public, citing that it has contributed to building Arab plans and strategies, including crime prevention, drug control, counterterrorism, traffic safety, financial control, in addition to civil protection and security awareness, an achievement receiving official and popular appreciation.
