Arab Media hails Saudi Arabia’s host to Three Summits

A number of media representatives taking part in the media coverage of the forthcoming GCC, Arab and Islamic summits, scheduled to be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Makkah, on Thursday paid tribute to the Kingdom for its initiative to host two extraordinary GCC and Arab summits to coincide with the 14th Islamic summit.

In statements to the Saudi Press Agency on the eve of the GCC and Arab summits, they lauded the Kingdom’s pioneering role in the service of the issues of the Arab and Islamic nations, citing the facilities rendered by the Ministry of Media for them to provide world-class coverage of those three significant events amid the challenges facing the region.

They underlined the Kingdom’s call for uniting the ranks of the Arab and Islamic worlds to ward off the dangers posed by terrorism and extremism.

Among those interviewed were Abdulrahman Elameen, editor in chief of Sudan’s Al-Sayha newspaper; Lebanon’s journalists association and editor-in-chief of Al-Sharq newspaper Ouni Al-Kaaki; Egypt’s chairman of the supreme council for media organization Makram Mohammed Ahmed.
