President of the Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi has praised the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi also described the great role, played by king Salman in preserving the entity of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and strengthening its integrative march in all fields, as an extension of the established historical role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Council's march over the past four decades since its inception.

In a statement, on the occasion of holding the upcoming 41st session of the GCC, he said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques represents GCC's safety valve and the defense line against the external threats and challenges, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represents the strategic depth of joint GCC action.
