Bahrain, UAE condemn terrorist attack on Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia

Bahrain and United Arab Emirate have strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Abha International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia carried out by Iranian-backed Houthi militias in Yemen, wishing all those injured in this hostile act a speedy recovery.

"TheMinistry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the unequivocal position of the Kingdomof Bahrain, and its unwavering support towards the efforts being exerted by theKingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance security and peace in the region and tocounter terrorism at regional and international levels," said the ministryin a statement.

The ministryreaffirmed its full solidarity against all those aiming to undermine thesisterly Kingdom's security and stability or threaten its interests, stressingthe need for the international community to intensify its efforts in combattingIranian-backed terrorist militias that seek to disrupt security and stabilityin the region and the world.

UAE condemns the attack

The UnitedArab Emirates has strongly condemned the Houthi terrorist attack on AbhaInternational Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , which resulted in theinjury of nine civilians.

In astatement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperationdenounced the terrorist attack which contradicts all international laws andconventions.

The UAEreiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its fullsupport for the Kingdom, all measures being taken to protect its security andstability, and all measures taken in the face of extremism and terrorism.

"Thesecurity of the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is indivisible," thestatement noted, adding, "any threat or danger to the Kingdom's securityis considered a threat to UAE's security and stability."

The Ministrywished a speedy recovery for all those injured in this terrorist act.
