Saudi Arabia recorded on Sunday 374 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours; 28 less than from Saturday's figure of 402, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.
Eighteen more patients died over the past 24 hours from complications caused by COVID-19, the ministry said.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 347,656 and virus-related fatalities to 5,420.
The ministry also reported 394 new recoveries over the past 24 hours; raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 334,236.
Of the new COVID-19 cases, Madinah recorded the highest with 85; followed by Riyadh with 48, Yanbu with 32, Makkah with 17, and Hail and Jeddah with 13 infections apiece.
The remaining cases were in different cities and governorates across the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, active cases have also significantly dropped with 8,000 reported on Sunday, out of which 771 are critical; the statement also added.
