Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense; directed the disbursement of SR3.74mn ($1mn) among nearly 200 young men and women across the Kingdom as marriage grants; SPA reported on Sunday.

The directive reflects the Crown Prince's keenness to support orphans with special circumstances and people with disabilities who are the primary beneficiaries of the SNAD Al-Zawaj (Marriage); an initiative of the SNAD Muhammed Bin Salman program.

The program in its first phase allocated grants worth SR520mn; benefiting more than 26,000 individuals in various regions of the Kingdom.

The beneficiaries also received training courses in financial awareness.

The SNAD Muhammed Bin Salman program also aims, through its multiple and innovative initiatives, to enhance the economic and social stability of the people in the Kingdom, and to make the welfare system more powerful and efficient.
