Female Transportation Program Wusool Benefits 54,754 Saudi Women Employees

The Human Resources Development Fund "Hadaf" hasstated that 54,754 Saudi women employees have benefited from FemaleTransportation Program (Wusool) until now, aiming to empower women working inthe private sector, increase the percentage of their participation in the labormarket and enhance their job stability.

It is worth mentioning that the Human Resources DevelopmentFund "Hadaf" has changed and updated its regulations for FemaleTransportation Program (Wusool) recently. These changes aim at findingsolutions to reduce burden of transportation costs for Saudi women working inthe private sector.

In addition, the updates aim at improving and developing theenvironment for commuting by providing a safe service with high quality andsafety for working women.

The changes included the conditions for joining the programand the requirement to register in the General Organization for SocialInsurance (GOSI), where the total GOSI subscription period shall be less than36 months and the monthly salary should be SAR 8000 or less.

Updates also included the amount of monthly financialsupport provided by the fund fixed at 80% of the cost and a maximum of SAR 800per month, the cancellation of the previously scheduled monthly financialsubscription of SAR 200 riyals, and the extension of the support period up to12 months.
