Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretariat General will take part in the 18th Global Weather Enterprise Conference, which is set to kick off on June 3, 2019.
Thesecretariat delegation will comprise Dr. Saeid bin Hamad Al-Sarimi.
Electionswill be held, during the conference, for the main posts and technicalcommittees, in accordance with the geographic regions' quotas.
In addition, a ten-Year long strategy will be set forth, too, ranging from 2020 to 2030 as well as a revision of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) governance book, weather services, climate, research and capabilities' upgrading.
