The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place yesterday near National Cancer Institute in Cairo, Egypt, which resulted in killing and injuring a number of innocent civilians. He described it as a terrible crime against all moral and human values.
TheSecretary General expressed his condemnation of this heinous crime thatdemonstrates the need to strengthen international community's efforts toconfront and eliminate terrorist organizations.
He also expressed his condolences to the families of victims and the government and people of Egypt, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
