Houthis have to be effective part of the peace makers in Yemen in a step to end the Yemeni crisis as well as reaching a comprehensive political resolution.
Saudi Arabia announced an initiative comes in continuation of the Kingdom’s concern for the security and stability of Yemen and the region, and its serious and practical steps to support peace in Yemen and put an end to the crisis.
The initiative is an extended trial from Saudi Arabia to support peace in Yemen and put an end to the crisis but the previous efforts were rejected by the Houthis.
The Kingdom’s initiative will be under supervision of the United Nations to end the human suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people, and affirms Saudi Arabia’s support for efforts to reach a comprehensive political resolution between the Yemeni parties.
The Saudi initiative is a new chance for all parts and Houthis have to make use of it to be part of the peace makers in Yemen with a full support of the international society and regional powers.
Moreover, Houthis have also to fulfill their commitments that include ceasefire across the country, depositing the taxes and customs revenue in the Yemini Central Bank as well as starting negotiations to reach a political agreement for the Yemini crises under the supervision of the United Nations.
The initiative aims for a comprehensive ceasefire across the country under the supervision of the United Nations, depositing taxes and custom revenues for ships carrying oil derivatives to the port of Hodeidah in the joint account of the Central Bank of Yemen.
It also aims to the reopening of Sanaa International Airport to a number of direct regional and international destinations.
The start of consultations between the Yemeni parties to reach a political resolution to the Yemeni crisis under the auspices of the United Nations based on the references of UN Security Council Resolution 2216, the Gulf initiative and its implementation mechanism, and the outcomes of the Yemeni national dialogue.
