TheActing Secretary General of Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition(IMCTC) Air Vice Marshal Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Mughaidi received today at IMCTCHeadquarters in Riyadh, the Secretary General of the Organization of IslamicCooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen.
Thetwo sides reviewed means of cooperation, common visions and strengtheningbilateral relations.
Theyalso signed a memorandum of joint cooperation that includes many initiativesand joint training programs, in addition to exchanging reports and studies ofcommon interest in combating terrorism and violent extremism.
IMCTCActing Secretary General emphasized that the signing of the memorandum aims toenhance integration and strategic partnership between the IMCTC and OIC toachieve more cooperation, coordination and integration.
Healso pointed out that this agreement comes within the framework of cooperationbetween the Coalition and local, Islamic and international centers, bodies andorganizations to coordinate, cooperate, and intensify efforts to combatterrorism and violent extremism.
