In Photos: Jeddah ready to host Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

President of Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal launched the countdown clock for the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The big event to be hosted in Jeddah from 3 to 5 December 2021.

It's the first ever time for Saudi Arabia to host this big event Formula 1.

"A few months after announcing the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, today we announce the start of preparations for this global race that Jeddah will host," the President of SAMF said.

Prince Khalid extended sincere thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince for their unlimited support for the sports sector.

"This race is being supported by the Quality-of-Life Program and contributes to achieving the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030," he added.
