An official source at the Ministry of Interior stated that whoever is detected while trying to access the Grand Mosque, central area surrounding it and the Holy Sites (Mina, Muzdalifah, Arafat) without a permit during the period from 25/11/1442H until the end of 13/12/1442H will be fined SAR 10,000 with the fine doubled for repeated violations, as stipulated in the provisions and fines related to violators of preventive measures and protocols to face the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic aimed at limiting the spread of the pandemic during this year's Hajj season.

The source called on all citizens and residents to adhere to the special regulations of this year's Hajj season, stressing, at the same time, that police officers will embark on their duties on all roads and routes leading to the Grand Mosque and Holy Sites to prevent and detect fines and apply them against all violators.
