Anumber of muftis of countries have praised Saudi Arabia's participation inAl-Azhar International Conference, stressing that it comes to represent majorroles that the Kingdom is playing in serving Islam, combating terrorism,rejecting extremism, and spreading moderation and a culture of tolerance andharmony throughout the world.
Instatements on the sidelines of the conference being held in Cairo, the muftisappreciated great efforts being exerted by the government of the Custodian ofthe Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for serving the Two HolyMosques and caring for pilgrims and Umrah performers in line with itspioneering roles in the Islamic world.
Theyincluded Mufti of the Republic of Mauritania Sheikh Ahmed Ould Murabet, Muftiof Republic of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed Tamim and others.
