Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi today met with Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom, who is currently visiting Jordan.
During the meeting, the Jordanian minister stressed the need to end the Yemeni crisis through a political dialogue, affirming Jordan's support for Saudi Arabia's call to the Yemeni government and all parties involved in the conflict in Aden to hold a meeting in the Kingdom to unite ranks, in order to confront the Iranian-Backed Houthi terrorist militia.
For her part, the Swedish minister said that her country remains committed to supporting the political process in Yemen, including the implementation of the Stockholm Convention reached in December 2018.
