Jordan Condemns Terrorist Attack on Two Oil-Pumping Stations in Saudi Arabia

The Jordanian government strongly condemned the terrorist attack using explosive-laden drones, which targeted two oil pumping stations that transport Saudi Arabian oil from oil fields in the Eastern Region to the port of Yanbu on the West Coast.

"Jordan strongly condemns this cowardly terrorist act which targets the security and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the region, and also threatens the safety of the world's energy supply." The Official Speaker of the Foreign Affairs Ministry Sufyan Al-Qadhah said in a statement.

"Theposition of Jordan in supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against thosethreatening its security or harming its interests and the stability of itspeople," the statement added.

"Thesecurity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the security of the Arab Gulf and thesecurity of Jordan is one, stressing Jordan's full solidarity with the Kingdomof Saudi Arabia and its confidence in their ability to protect their securityand stability." The statement affirmed.

SaudiAramco's two oil pumping stations in the provinces of Dawadmi and Afif inRiyadh have been targeted by a terrorist attack, the security spokesman for thePresidency of State Security announced on Tuesday.

According tothe Saudi Press Agency, the incident occurred between six and six and a half onTuesday morning, adding that "there was a limited targeting of Aramco's two oilpumping stations in the provinces of Dawadmi and Afif in Riyadh."
