Carlos Duarte, professor ecologist of sciences of seas andchair of Tareq Ahmed Al-Juffali for Red Sea Sciences Research Center atJeddah-based King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST)has been awarded Frontiers of Knowledge prize on environment sciencesand wildlife protection.
The award was in recognition of the Portuguese professor'scontribution in a number of international research campaigns endeavoring toenhance maritime environmental diversification and its role in the formation ofall environments all through the world as well as his contribution to theKingdom's ambitious vision 2030.
