King Abdulaziz University organizes forum on future of e-learning

King Abdulaziz University, represented by Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education (DDL); virtually organized yesterday the “e-Learning Future: Vision and Roadmap” Forum. This is also under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Education for Universities, Research and Innovation Dr. Mohammad Bin Ahmad Al-Sudairi.

President of King Abdulaziz University Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Obaid Al-Youbi also said that the forum was the result of joint efforts between educational institutions, under the leadership of the Ministry of Education; through which educational sectors in Saudi Arabia managed to overcome the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

On her part, Dr. Lamya Ba Harith, Deputy Dean of DDL, said that participants in the forum discussed latest developments in applying the practices of e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, including ways to improve educational processes, learning during the pandemic and methods of crisis planning, in addition to technology-enhanced learning tools, digital transformation and sharing innovative applications and experiments in teaching and learning.
