Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman have sent cables of congratulations to Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo on the eve of the anniversary of his country’s National Day.

In their congratulatory messages, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince wished the Ghanaian president good health and happiness and the government and people of Ghana steady progress and prosperity.

Ghana celebrates its National Day, which is also known as Independence Day, on March 6 every year. If March 6 falls on a weekend, the following Monday will be observed as a holiday. The day commemorates Ghana’s independence from the United Kingdom in 1957.
