King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Honorary President of the Equestrian Club, patronized the horse race ceremony; on Saudi Arabia Cup trophy. It is the richest and biggest of its kind, all through the history of world horse races.
The race took place earlier at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Square.
Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the King and Governor of Makkah Region; Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor at the Royal Court and Chairman of the Equestrian Club; Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sport; as well as Prince Abdullah bin Khalid, Saudi Ambassador to Austria and Director of the Equestrian Club Adel Al-Mazrou welcomed King Salman on arrival to the venue.
