King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed on Monday a contract to provide more than 41,000 Ramadan food baskets in Jordan’s capital, Amman. The food baskets will be distributed in cooperation with Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization to Jordanian, Palestinian and Syrian families.
KSRelief will deliver the food baskets to the families, taking into account the measures being taken by the Jordanian authorities to protect their citizens and residents from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Center also distributed on Monday 585 food baskets to needy people in Khartoum State, Sudan, benefiting 3,510 people.
This comes within the framework of a project to distribute 38,211 food baskets in the holy month of Ramadan in Sudan.
In Yemen, the KSRelief continued distributing Ramadan food baskets to needy and families affected by torrents in Aden Governorate during the current humanitarian crisis. 350 food baskets were distributed to 175 families.
