Dr. Abdullah binAbdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of KingSalman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), launched heretoday a website of the International Journal of Humanitarian Studies in theinternet as follows: (( /https//:journal.ksrelief.org/ )).

In a statement, Dr. AlRabeeah affirmed that the KSrelief has made great strides in several fields atthe humanitarian level, gathering information and communicating with theinternational parties, adding that the publication of the journal came inaccordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques KingSalman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince. He asserted that the InternationalJournal of Humanitarian Studies will achieve its goals related to spreadingawareness of humanitarian work through all available means in order to keeppace with developments in the field of electronic media, expressingappreciation of a partnership with King Faisal Center for Research andIslamic Studies (KFCRIS).

The journal aims to bean international and academic journal devoted to academic research, surveys andbest practices in the field of humanitarian aid and relief around the world.

It seeks to publishhumanitarian knowledge of officials and practitioners in the field ofhumanitarian aid and relief as well as academic researchers who search inpolicy making changes and developments in this field.

It also seeks to shedlight on contemporary challenges, best practices and methods in the field ofhumanitarian work.

 The journal creates channel for publishinghumanitarian aid and relief academic studies and for communication withregional and international centers of the same field. It highlights the effortsof the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by King Salman Humanitarian Aid& Relief Centre, in the field of humanitarian and relief action. TheInternational Journal of Humanitarian Studies contributes to the enrichment ofthe academic knowledge in the field of humanitarian and relief assistance.
