King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has announced that it will provide a project of distribution of food baskets during the holy month of Ramadan in Sudan at an estimated cost of more than 549,000 US dollars.

The Saudi Press agency said that the inauguration ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador in Sudan Ali bin Hassan Ja'far and the representative of the Director General of Sudanese Moral Guidance, Major General Fathi Al-Mahal.

The projectaims to distribute 13,725 food baskets during the coming month of Ramadan tomeet the needs of families in the areas of displacement and poverty in fivestates.

According to the KSrelief's implementation of such humanitarian initiatives, 68,625 people will benefit from the project.

Thedistribution comes in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two HolyMosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to provide apackage of humanitarian aid to stand with the Sudanese people.
