KSrelief to implement various projects in Yemen’s Hodeida, Hajjah

KSrelief (The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center), the charity arm of Saudi Arabia; signed five joint agreements on Thursday with Taybah Foundation for Development to implement a number of projects. This is in the fields of health, water, and environmental sanitation in Yemen's Hodeidah as well as Hajjah governorates.

The agreements were signed here by KSrelief's assistant supervisor general for operations and programs, Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz; at the headquarters of the center.

The first agreement, which will cost $1,244,000mn, includes the operation of the Al-Jaada Health Center in Hayran District in Hajjah governorate (the third phase), benefiting 69,300 people.

The second agreement worth $1,604,000 will ensure the operation of emergency nutritional medical clinics for the displaced in Hodeidah governorate, benefiting 175,200 individuals.

The third agreement will see the implementation of the water supply and environmental sanitation project for the displaced in Hodeidah governorate, benefiting 8,400 individuals.

The fourth agreement also includes the implementation of the water supply and environmental sanitation project in Hajjah governorate; benefiting 18,742 individuals, and will also cost $1,660,000.

The fifth agreement, which will also cost $343,000, covers the operation of mobile medical clinics in the districts of Al-Aalan; Abs and Al-Ghara in Hajjah governorate), benefitting 36,000 people.
