Medical teams of theKing Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) on Wednesdayperformed eight surgeries to fix congenital deformities of the urinary tract inchildren in Yemen's Seiyun General Hospital.

Sixty-nine childrenfrom different governorates in Yemen will undergo the surgeries. Abdul HadiAl-Tamimi, an assistant undersecretary for Hadhramaut governorate, thankedKSRelief for supporting the Yemeni people.

He said thecontinuous humanitarian support provided by Saudi Arabia confirms the depth ofrelations between the two peoples. Beneficiaries thanked KSRelief for itsservices and humanitarian work in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia'shumanitarian efforts exerted through KSRelief have reached 45 countries todate, through 1,062 projects, most allocated to Yemen.

The total Saudiassistance to Yemen since May 2015 amounted to $16 billion in humanitarian anddevelopment aid, in addition to supporting refugees, providing funds to Yemen'scentral bank and supporting the Yemeni economy.
