Thecontinuing Houthi group's attacks on Saudi territory represent a "clearand direct threat" to regional security and stability, he said, mentioningthis necessitates enacting relevant Security Council weapon ban resolutions.

He praisedthe "pivotal role" assumed by the UN inspectors deployed to monitorthe implementation of the Stockholm agreement, and the subsequent Houthiwithdrawal from the strategic port of Hodeidah, Al-Saleef and Ras Issa.

Despitethis, he expressed disappointment as regards the developments over theagreement, explaining that, up to this point, it has "not achieved itsintended goals".
