Lowest Number of Virus Infections Since Mid-April, Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia announced 910 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, the lowest number of infections since mid-April.

Of the new cases, 66 were in Makkah; 64 in Jeddah; 45 in Riyadh; 41 in Madinah; and 36 in Jazan, the Health Ministry reported.

The total number of recoveries from the COVID-19 disease increased to 289,667 after 1,226 more patients recovered, it said.

Another 30 patients died from complications caused by the disease, bringing the Kingdom's death toll to 3,870 people, the Ministry added.
