Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Foundation (Misk) has announced the graduation of the 3rd batch of Misk 500 Startup Accelerator Program. Misk 500 is organized in partnership with “500 Startups,” an early-stage venture fund, and in the 3rd batch, 16 companies have completed the program successfully.
The 14 week program has been implemented remotely due to current circumstances of COVID-19. Entrepreneurs attended a series of workshops and training sessions, to identify the weakness points and difficulties that might occur and then to implement their project in real life.
The 3rd batch included 16 companies spanning a number of sectors and countries across the Middle East and North Africa region including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan. Sectors represented by the batch include physical fitness, employment, e-commerce, and health care technology.
The celebration ceremony of the completion of the program will be held remotely on Monday 11 May, 2020. It will also be transmitted on YouTube on the same day at 9:30 KSA.
Misk affirmed that it will continue to support and empower youths under any circumstances, noting that Misk 500 Accelerator Program has achieved its objectives despite the obstacles resulted from COVID-19.
