LONDON – The Egyptian Mohammad Salah celebrated Sunday, with his wife and daughter Makkah, winning the Golden Boot for the top scorer in the English Premier League with fellow Liverpool players; the Senegalese Sadeo Mani and Arsenal striker, the Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

After beating Wolverhampton 2-0 in the 38th and final stage, Salah celebrated the Golden Boot with 22 goals, equal to his Senegalese international teammate Sadeo Mani and Aubameyang.

Salah was accompanied on the pitch by his wife and daughter, who, like last year, had been encouraged by the crowd at Anfield when she took the ball alone on the green grass before scoring in front of the kop amid the crowd applauding, according to videos posted on social networking sites.

Unlike her father, the youngster seems to favor the right foot

On his side, the world-class footballing dad shared a photo on his social media accounts in which he stands carrying the golden boot beside his daughter with a sarcastic caption saying; "Yes, I know we have him at home, but that's new."

Liverpool has failed to win the 29-year-old missing championship after finishing second in the standings, one point behind Manchester City, who kept the title for the second consecutive season.

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp praised his team's performance, "It was a good season, our performance was at an incredible level, it's really an exceptional season."

"We have to be very close to perfection so we can win the league championship," he added: "We have taken extraordinary steps and expect more in the future."

Liverpool are currently preparing for the final of the UEFA Champions League where it will face Tottenham Hotspur on June 1st in Madrid.

Liverpool, which has five titles in the championship, is looking forward to the prestigious European title, which has been out of reach since 2005.
