More than 1,400 rooms ready for respiratory isolation, says Saudi Arabia's Health Ministry

Audi Arabia’s Ministry of Health has confirmed the readiness of more than 1,400 isolation rooms in hospitals in the Kingdom, which are used for advanced cases of people with severe symptoms, as the ministry continues to intensify its efforts to prevent the transmission of infection.

The hospitals of the Ministry of Health currently have 1449 negative pressure isolation rooms that conform to specifications and operate effectively distributed across all hospitals in the governorates and health regions, and work is currently underway to develop 713 air isolation rooms expected to be completed in early 2021.

The Ministry of Health provides 870 highly efficient air purifiers, one of the best and finest ready-to-work types that can be used in patient isolation rooms under spray isolation procedures and in places of waiting and examining patients with respiratory symptoms to improve air quality in these locations.
