Saudi Arabia's new COVID-19 cases fell below 400-mark for the first time since April with 390 reported on Sunday; according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.
The ministry also announced 25 more deaths from complications caused by COVID-19. This brings the total confirmed number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 336,387 and virus-related fatalities to 4,875.
The ministry also reported 511 new recoveries over the past 24 hours; raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 321,485 with the recovery rate reaching 95.56 percent.
All cities again recorded less than 50 cases with Makkah and Madinah; reporting 48 infections followed by Riyadh with 29 and Yanbu 25. The remaining cases were detected in different cities and governorates across the Kingdom.
With the steady drop in the number of new infections, active cases have also fallen sharply in the Kingdom; with just 10,027 reported on Friday out of which 955 are critical.
