Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced early on Wednesday that there is no specific date yet for the resumption of international flights in the Kingdom.

Making an announcement on its official Twitter account, the General Civil Aviation Authority tweeted; saying: "GACA confirms that there is no specific date yet for the date of the resumption of international flights. Besides, ensuring that the decision will be on the basis of the evaluation of the competent authorities."

"The Authority calls upon everyone to take information update from official sources," the tweet added.

The international flights suspended in the Kingdom in March due to the global outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.

However, domestic flights resumed in June after the Kingdom eased coronavirus restrictions.
