OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen held a meeting with US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia John Abizaid in the organization headquarter on Sunday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the meeting, the two sides had a useful and extensive exchange of views on various regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Ambassador Abizeid expressed his desire to deepen relations with the OIC General Secretariat.
From his side, the Secretary General emphasized on maintaining regular contacts to further strengthen OIC-US bilateral relations and reiterated OIC's interest to remain engaged with the United States for shared benefit.
