Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen renewed his appeal to all leaders and parties in Afghanistan to work together for an urgent and lasting cease-fire and to reduce violence.
Ina statement, the OIC Secretary-General urged everyone to engage in a dialogueto reach comprehensive reconciliation and lasting peace within the framework ofthe Afghan-led peace process.
He stressed the importance of all leaders and parties supporting the precautionary efforts and measures taken by Afghanistan to reduce the spread of Coronavirus and prevent its citizens from the spread of the epidemic.
