Private sector benefits from Employment Support Initiative: Hadaf

The Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) has explained that private sector establishments can benefit from the salary support in the "employment support" initiative, for Saudis who previously benefited from programs including on-the-job training (Tamheer), professional vocational certificates, support for localization growth, support for part-time work, Job Seekers Benefit, Dialysis Days Fee Support, Working Woman's Hospitality Support (Qurrah), and Working Woman Transport Support (Wusul).

It is worth noting that those who have benefited from the employment support program to raise skills for a period of less than 24 months, can benefit from the supplementary period for them, in the "employment support initiative".

The initiative also supports the wages of citizens who were employed in all jobs in the private sector from the date of July 1, 2019 (retroactively), as well as any new employment, at a rate starting from 30% to 50% of the employee's monthly salary for a period of two years, provided that salaries range between SR 4,000 and SR 15,000.

Establishments also receive an additional 10% support when hiring females, persons with disabilities, in non-major cities, and in small and medium enterprises, provided that the maximum support does not exceed 50% of the employee's monthly salary, or SR 3000, whichever is less.

Establishments can register electronically and benefit from the initiative, by entering the initiative's page on the National Business Portal (TAQAT) via the link:
