The Royal Commission in Jubail and Yanbu organizes, on Tuesday, the annual meeting of the English Language Institute entitled “Investing in Human Capital through Integrated Language Education… Launching the Potential”, on two days, at King Abdullah Cultural Center in Jubail Industrial City, with the participation of a number of distinguished speakers and specialists, who have long experience in English language teaching.

Dr. Anwar Al-Zahrani, Director of the English Language Institute at the Royal Commission in Jubail and Yanbu, said that this forum comes as one of the initiatives of the education sector in the Commission to keep abreast of the new developments in the field of English language education, where it focuses on the areas of investment in human capital, which is the real capital of the compatriots.

Saudi Arabia, through the use of educational technology; to create an attractive and stimulating learning environment for the learners, contribute to raising the quality of the outputs of the education sector programs at the Royal Commission to provide the local labor market with national competencies and distinct cadres.

Al-Zahrani pointed out that “the forum attracts many academics and specialists in this field at the local and global levels, where a special scientific program and an accompanying exhibition are prepared to enrich the educational process, and achieve the aspirations of all attendees and participants interested in teaching English, stressing that the forum is an opportunity for those interested in the areas of English language teaching, while the accompanying exhibition provides an opportunity for all attendees to learn about the latest technologies used in educational technology”.

It is worth mentioning that the Forum discusses many themes that include investment in human capital, educational technology, learning English language through computers, mobile devices, and modern teaching methods, assessment in language teaching, 21st century skills and language learning, design and development Curriculum, teaching English for specific purposes, in addition to quality assurance in teaching and learning English.
