Riyadh Agreement is a great step in resolving Yemen crisis, Sisi says

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt expressed his great pleasure on the occasion of signing the Riyadh Agreement document between the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council.

In a tweet on his Twitter account, President al-Sisi said, “I have followed with pleasure the signing ceremony of the agreement between the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council, in response to the gracious invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

He added, “The agreement is a great step in the course of resolving the Yemeni crisis, and enhances the unity of brotherly Yemen, and establishes stability and peace in the region.”
