“Riyadh Declaration”: Arabs should upgrade knowledge to cope with new industrial era

Representatives of the Arab countries has concluded the activities of their 6th meeting of the Higher Coordination Committee of Arab Decade for Literacy and Adult Education (2015-2024), which was hosted by the Kingdom, in its capital Riyadh, under the patronage of the Minister of Education Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh.

They confirmed that the Arab world in the era of the 4th industrial revolution seeks to advance with the renewed knowledge that keeps pace with that revolution, which requires paying attention to adult and continuing education programs, as it is one of the pillars of renewed knowledge since the 4th industrial revolution is made by conscious people, through continuing education programs leading to lifelong learning.

Representatives of the participating Arab countries for 2020 recommended adherence to the principles mentioned in Riyadh Declaration and strive to achieve them.
