The Riyadh season continued to achieve record numbers in terms ofthe number of visitors, as well as the number of events and revenue. GeneralManager of the Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki Al-Sheikh, revealedthat 8.3 million tickets have been sold in the Riyadh season of various offersso far in only five locations of season that have been opened.
In the last 10 days since the opening of the Riyadh season on October 11, the number of visitors to the season has reached 3 million, and 15,000 tourist visas have been issued.
The Boulevard of Riyadh, which never sleeps, is the most popular destination to date. It is expected that a large proportion of visitors to the Riyadh season from Friday to attend the event "Riyadh Winter Wonder Land", which starts selling tickets from Wednesday, offering fun and entertainment on an area of more than 200,000 square meters with snow games and adventures, some of which are specially prepared for the season for the first time in the region.
The Riyadh season announced that the Winter Wonderland event, to beon Wednesday and Thursday, is dedicated to receiving the children of charityorganizations, and the children of martyrs of duty and on Friday, it will openits doors to all visitors.
This evening, visitors to the Riyadh Interface will enjoy watching aSaudi play by Nasser Al-Qasabi on the Blue Hall Theater at Princess NouraUniversity. As well as the international play "The Wizard of Oz" in the Al-HamraHall of the same university.
Visitors can enjoy Nabd Al-Riyadh, a celebration of our belovedcapital's history with shows that vary from technologically advanced 3D, tomuseums and exhibitions that celebrate our heritage and traditions.
They are also encouraged to visit the light garden, and enjoy theexperience of having dinner in any of the six local and internationalrestaurants.
Visitors to the Riyadh season are eagerly anticipating the launchof seven more locations for the season, according to a pre-planned plan by theGeneral Authority for Entertainment to be six major event areas and sixsub-regions in the largest season in the region.
