Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 421 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom, bringing the total number to 338,132 cases, including 9,391 active cases receiving necessary medical care.

"There are 879 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement added. As many as 561 cases have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 323,769, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said, adding that 25 new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 4,972.
