Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 970 new confirmed cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom.

The Health Ministry said in their statement that the daily reported number of the infected cases brings the total number to 405,940, including 9,508 active cases.

"There are 1,087 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable," the statement said.

"Eleven new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 6,834," the statement added.

"896 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 389,598," the Saudi Health Ministry said. On the other hand, 56,583 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
