The Saudi-US "Enthusiastic Commander 2019" exercise concluded today, in the presence of the Commander of Saudi Royal Land Forces Lieutenant General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mutair, and the Commander of US Army Central Command Lieutenant General Terry Ferrell.
The exercisewas held at King Khalid Military City in the Northern Region, and continued fortwo weeks.
LieutenantGeneral Al-Mutair stressed that the exercise aims at enhancing thecompatibility of joint military action and cooperation between the twocountries, exchanging experiences and concepts and raising combat preparedness.He also pointed out that this exercise is an extension of joint exercisesbetween Saudi Royal Land Forces and forces of sisterly and friendly countries.
For his part, the Commander of the US Army Central Command said that we have had the opportunity to participate in this great exercise, which reflects the friendship that has existed for many years.
He addedthat this friendship will continue and be stronger, thanking everyone for theirparticipation in this exercise, looking forward to developing this friendshipand partnership.
