Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Monday the registration of 59 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 78 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health said in their statement that the number of critical cases reached 244.
The statistics of the daily report also showed that the total number of infections in the country reached 546,985, while the recovery tally reached 536,028.
"Five new deaths, bringing fatalities tally in the Kingdom to 8,704," the statement added.
The Ministry of Health advised everyone to contact the toll free (937) for consultations and inquiries around the clock, to obtain health information and services.
