Saudi Arabia Discusses with US, Europe Efforts to Contain Pandemic’s Impact

Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir discussed with US Ambassador to Riyadh John Abizaid on Sunday efforts exerted by the two states in confronting the COVID-19 pandemic’s repercussions. During the meeting at Jubeir’s office, “they discussed bilateral relations, regional and international issues of common interest, and efforts exerted by the two countries to confront the impact of the coronavirus pandemic,” the Saudi Press Agency reported. Also Sunday, Jubeir held a virtual meeting with European Union ambassadors, SPA said. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom and the EU, it said. They also discussed the latest developments in the region as well as regional and international issues of common interest, including efforts to confront the pandemic, the news agency added.
