Saudi Arabia finances 1000 SMEs in a year

Saleh Al-Rasheed, Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) in Saudi Arabia, revealed that the company financed more than 1000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) during the year from October 2018 until last month, pointing to the launch of special programs for capital financing, including the Saudi Venture Capital Company that invests in start-up projects.

Al-Rasheed explained that the aim of the forum is to encourage entrepreneurship, and Saudi Arabia is still considered one of the leading countries with advanced positions, and it is believed that such forums help to turn these ideas into entrepreneurial projects.
