Saudi Arabia Inspects Social Welfare Project in Lebanon

Saudi Arabia's Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) sent a team on Sunday, headed by Dr. Amal Al-Habdan, Director of the Community Support Department, accompanied by Director of the Center's office in Lebanon Fahd Al-Qanas, to tour today a project designed for social welfare for orphans and widows in Bekaa province.

The project set to render relief assistance over a six-month period at a total cost of US $ 150,000 to benefit 24 Syrian refugee families, aims to provide a decent life for widows, orphans, divorcees, patients and people with special need in that region.

The teamalso held a meeting here with the Director of UNESCO's Beirut Office Dr. HamadAl Hammami.

During themeeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between KSrelief and UNESCOto support education of the displaced Syrians children in Lebanon.

As part ofits Lebanon's visit, the team also participated in a workshop on education forthe displaced children.
